FOUNDER’S
DAY CELEBRATION - 10th
OCTOBER Traditionally
the Founder’s Day is celebrated in Priyadarshini College of Engineering
& Architecture for all the Institutions under Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan
Shikshan Sanstha centrally. Since
the Founder’s Day represents the Birthday of the Hon’ble Chairman,
Shri Satish Chaturvedi, all the institutions of LTJSS celebrate the day by
holding various cultural activities amidst ambience of joy, fun and
gaiety. The events are held as part of the Founder’s Day are musical
melodies of Tuning Forks, Quiz Competition, Antakshari, Sports activities,
Rangoli Competition, Variety Entertainment, Drawing Competition, Poster
Competition & Musical Chair. The
Executive Director and Principal highlight the growth of PCE&A and
various institutions under LTJSS.

SEVENTEENTH NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CRYOGENICS (1999)
This was a national conference of cryogenics it was organized on behalf of
Indian cryogenic society. This
was on 21st and 22nd February 1999 around 150 papers were presented in
about 5 to 6 parallel sessions. There were invited lectures by eminent
professionals from India like Prof. K.G. Narayan (IIT Bombay), Prof. Sunil
Saurangi (IIT Khadakpur), Dr. Milind Atre (Centre for Advance Technology
India) and around 4 – 5 scientists of eminent from defense
research and development organize ministry of defense India.

Industrial Problems In Machines and Mechanisms (2000) This
conference was organized on behalf of association of machines and
mechanisms (Headquarters IIT Chennai). This association is a national
committee of International Federation of Theory of Machines and Mechanism
(IFToMM). The conference was on 19th & 20th January 2000 it was
preceded by a precemposium school on mechatronics for two days. The
theme of the conference was industrial automation and its adoption to
industries on 19th January. Invited lecturers series was organized
comprising of eminent professionals from India such as Prof. J. S. Rao,
Prof. B. A. Rao, Prof. B. T. Agrawal (at Delhi), Prof. Y.G. Shrivastava (IIT
Chennai) etc.
