The Department has well experienced faculty members specialized in different areas of chemistry. It is also involved in various activities like conduction of student seminars, organisation of intercollegiate poster competition yearly, student counseling, personality development programmes. Various R & D projects, students projects and also the organisation of guest lectures periodically are actively undertaken by the department.
Chemistry Laboratory is well equipped and the department is developing a futuristic testing Lab for industry related materials like fuel, lubricants, water effluent and plastics to benefit not only industries coming up In the region but also final year Mechanical Engineering students.
